The Palms is easy to get to. Situated in the heart of Shirley, just 10 minutes from the Christchurch CBD. The Palms can be accessed via three entrances at the corner of Marshland Road and New Brighton Road, Golf Links Road, or Marshland Road.

The Palms has bus stops located on both corners of Marshland and New Brighton Roads, with various transport routes available throughout the city.

The Palms Shopping Centre has 1,450 spaces including Mobility and Parent with Pram parking spaces.
The Palms Shopping Centre has 1,450 spaces (640 undercover) including Mobility and Parent with Pram parking spaces. The centre can be conveniently accessed from Marshland Road, New Brighton Road, or Golf Links Road. Express car parking for those quick shopping visits can be found on the ground level car park; there are seven in total.
A free Blue Star taxi phone is available at Woolworths. The loading zone for Blue Star Taxis is located at the Golf Links Road entrance.
Bus shelters are located on Marshland and New Brighton Roads. Bus Services to catch are: the Orange Line, Bus 44, or Bus 100 which stop on New Brighton Road; Bus 60 or Bus 135 which stop on Marshland Road; or the Orbiter which stops on Shirley Road by Shirley Intermediate.
Dedicated Parent Parking is available in all car parks including the first three levels of the car parking building. These spaces are available to those requiring easy access with parking, especially those with young children and prams.
